ICT and E-Learning Equipment and Resources
The WEA NE have ICT equipment and resources available - on a first come first served booking basis - for WEA tutors and staff to use for courses, briefings or presentations. The equipment includes:
- Laptops - individual or groups
- Data projectors
- Digital cameras
- Videos & DVD's
- Video & DVD players
- Tape recorders
In addition bids for funding for additional equipment is always being sought. If there is any specific equipment you are interested in please inform me and I will see what I can do.
On a personal basis I do always recommend that tutors consider purchasing for themselves - costs permitting - a mobile telephone (these now have recorders, digital cameras and video cameras on them) a laptop and a data projector as their minimum tools of the trade. It is also best to purchase these items via the internet; although I recommend having once identified the make and model for you that you examine it in a shop before purchasing.

Binders for portfolio’s
Laminators
The equipment is available against signature from either Christine Foster, Liz Langdown or myself (ICT equipment only) or via your Course Organiser/Project Worker.
There are also WEA portable banners for presentations or briefings.
